How Recycle Bin Recovery Works

When files are deleted and the Recycle Bin or Trash is emptied, the data isn't necessarily immediately deleted.

Until the storage space is reused, deleted files may still exist on the disk.

Rtriva scans drives in read-only mode to locate recoverable files without changing existing data.

1

Safe Disk Scanning

Rtriva scans internal drives and connected storage without writing data.

2

File System Analysis

Recoverable files are identified from file systems such as NTFS, FAT32, APFS, and HFS+

3

Clear Preview Results

Files are listed with names and formats, allowing preview before recovery.

Important Note

The sooner you attempt recovery after deletion, the higher the chances of successful recovery. Avoid saving new files to the drive where deletion occurred.
